Do Treadmills Come Fully Assembled?

Some models come already assembled, while some you have to assemble yourself. And even then, you really don’t have to do much. You just need to attach the console and support frame, and that’s it!

Steps to Assemble a Treadmill

Once you have the treadmill out of the box, you then have to assemble it. All you need to do is follow these steps.

Assembling treadmil

  • Firstly set the deck in place.
  • Secure the handlebar or the console support posts to both sides of the treadmill to the deck
  • Check the wires to make sure it’s not pinched, keep a hold on the console, and then connect the cables.
  • Align the console and the support posts, then tighten the screws
  • Lastly, just check the belt tension. You won’t have to adjust the belt, as it comes pre-installed. Simply lift each side of the belt from the walking platform. You should be able to lift it at least 3” or 4”. In case the belt has shifted during the unpacking, tighten the bolt. On the side where it is off, a ¼ turn will tighten it. If the belt is loose, then tighten both the bolts; a ¼ turn each should do.

The treadmill is now assembled, simply plug in the power cord, and you’re good to go!
